Biljana Latinović was born in 1967 in Bosanski Petrovac. While photography has been her long-standing hobby, her transition into the realm of serious fine art photography began in 2019 when she joined the Photo Association of Serbia (FSS). She expanded her artistic engagement by joining the Photo Club Belgrade in 2021, and since 2022, she has been an active member of the Photo Club Šimanovci.
For Biljana, photography is a profound passion and a sanctuary for both mind and soul. Drawing inspiration from her surroundings, she skillfully captures transient moments of daily life, nature, and wildlife. In addition to documentary work, she has a deep affinity for macro photography and the meticulous staging of still-life compositions.
Her artistic vision has earned widespread international recognition. Biljana has participated in over two hundred national and international exhibitions across more than 20 countries, held under the patronage of the Photo Association of Serbia, FIAP, and PSA, earning numerous medals and honorable mentions. Among her notable achievements is the Second Prize for a still-life collection at the prestigious 67th National Exhibition of Photography in 2024. Reflecting her consistent dedication, she was also twice named among the top 10 most successful authors in Serbia (in 2020 and 2022).
Her continuous creative growth is accompanied by distinguished photographic titles. In 2021, she earned the FA1 rank from the Photo Association of Serbia, followed by the international EFIAP distinction from the International Federation of Photographic Art in 2023. In 2025, she achieved the high national rank of Candidate Master of Photography (KMF FSS).
To date, Biljana has presented her work through three solo exhibitions. Her first solo show took place in March 2025 in Prnjavor. She held her second solo exhibition in September of the same year in Šimanovci, as part of the photo safari “Through Srem with a Lens,” under the auspices of the Photo Club Šimanovci. Her third solo exhibition was presented in May 2026 in Kumanovo, as part of the renowned “Malinski Photo Festival.”
